I paid to unlock on my iPod. It was automatically installed on my iphone, but not unlocked. Whats up with that? Will rate higher after unlock comes through. Thank you.

This app has beautiful colors that my two year old loves yet he is frustrated quickly as other reviewers have seen. My four year old prefers the app ‘Pre-K ABC HD’ which has the the headline, midline, baseline lines the color coded start from the top dots and arrows like he has in his pre-k no more tears program as well as a bright colored speller and flashcards. I suggest Pre-K ABC HD for school readiness.

Great music, sounds and kids are actually learning something whilst playing! Would recommend to all.

My daughter seems to go back to this app on a regular basis. What surprised us was that she remembers each letter and its phonic word associated with it. Simple but effective!

This is an amazing learning tool! My son is almost 3 years old and absolutely loves this app. *I* love that not only does he get practice writing the letters and numbers, but it also says the letter, sounds it out, uses it in a word AND has combination sounds not found in most ABC apps (th or er for example). I really like the Free version for the ability to try before you buy but if you do decide to purchase I would encourage you to buy the full (pro) version direct from the itunes store. The in-app purchase upgrade did not transfer to all devices on my account requiring me to request a refund when I finally purchased the Pro. The customer service is amazing though and happy refunded my money in a very timely manner.

Thank you for making the changes to the phonics and improved sounds. Accuracy is of paramount importance and this app meets our teaching needs!

Doesnt even include the entire alphabet without having to upgrade. What a waste.

This really is an excellent app. Not only does it show how to write letters and numbers, it actually has a built in correction step. If the child does not write the numbers as instructed it starts the letter or number over. This teaches the child the correct way to make a letter as well as ensuring the child isnt super sloppy about it. It does allow for some irregularity but not extreme irregularity. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because the description doesnt state that it is only giving you three numbers and letters. The upgraded version is well worth the price of $1.99. Unfortunately when it asks you to upgrade it doesnt tell you he price until you click to upgrade.

I cant turn the volume on...does this have any music or sound to it?

Its too bad the developer doesnt let you know that you only get the first three letters of the alphabet unless you upgrade. Waste of time.

Excellent resource for parents and teachers, fun and educational for my class.

After searching through many apps, pre-k has the phonics and letter formations perfected. It looks like they have totally adopted the Orton-Gillingham learning methods which is great as this ensures my children will learn letter sounds and strokes properly with the bonus of numbers and blending. Its a small cost for the app but has huge value and I can confidently recommend it!
